Fascinated by movement and the human body, I decided to study sports science at the University of Basel in 2003.
During my studies, I discovered the fascination of Pilates, as well as GYROTONIC and GYROKINESIS. After completing my studies, I took the plunge into self-employment in 2007 and opened my first Pilates studio on Lake Zurich.
Through my many years of experience in the training and sports sector, I have acquired a wealth of valuable knowledge over nearly 25 years.
All my training and continuing education in the field of GYROTONIC are listed on the international page.

The effect of movement on body and mind has fascinated me ever since I studied sports science at the University of Basel.
Over 10 years ago, I discovered yoga and have practiced it regularly ever since.
In 2020, I completed my Yoga Teacher Training (200h) in traditional Hatha Yoga in Bali and subsequently launched Yoga im Park – a mindful movement sequence in nature with breathing exercises and meditation.
Since April 2026, I have been complementing this practice with regular sessions at Studio Gyrotonic Living Pink.
Besides yoga, I most enjoy being active outdoors in nature – hiking, jogging, surfing, snowboarding, or taking a deliberately slow walk in the forest.

I’ve been connected to Living Pink since its early years – first as a client of Germaine’s, later as a Pilates instructor.
As a passionate long-distance runner, I originally looked for a counterbalance to the one-sided strain of running. Within a short time, I became fascinated by what Pilates changed in my body, my posture, and my body awareness.
Since completing my training in 2012, I have continuously taught Pilates, in groups and private sessions, on the mat and on the reformer. Over the years, I’ve learned one thing above all: every body is different. Recognizing which exercises suit a person and what truly helps them is an important part of teaching, for me.
Witnessing progress in strength, mobility, and posture continues to bring me great joy today.

Movement has been an important part of my life since childhood – from running to tennis and volleyball to horseback riding. This fascination with movement and the human body eventually led me to study physiotherapy.
After the birth of my two children, my body changed. I still enjoy playing tennis, walking my dog, and kickboxing – but I felt something was missing, a training that would also reach my deeper muscles. That’s how I discovered Pilates.
I was soon fascinated by this versatile training method, and my desire to deepen my knowledge grew. I completed the Comprehensive training at Polestar Pilates and got to know the work on the mat as well as on the various Pilates equipment.
Today, what excites me most is designing a training tailored to each person’s individual needs – and accompanying them as they build trust in their body and discover joy in their own quality of movement.
